This panel is a main lug panel which is used as sub-panel to add circuits to an existing main breaker panel. Sub panels are often used in a garage, home addition, barn or storage shed and/or workshop. The branch breakers protect the wires leading to individual electrical loads such as fixtures and outlets. The BR1224L200R is a 200 Amp outdoor main lug with 12 spaces and 24 circuits.
