The Mail Boss Base Plate allows you to secure a mailbox post to a variety of surfaces, including concrete or asphalt. Generally, the Mail Boss Base Plate should be used with the 27" Surface Mount Post however, in some unusual applications the Base Plate may be used otherwise.
