Grand teton national park is located in the northwest region of wyoming on its border with idaho. The park encompasses the teton mountain range, the 4000-meter high grand teton peak and the valley known as jackson hole. Many go to the park for hiking, mountaineering, back-country camping and fishing. It is linked to nearby yellowstone national park by the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway.
